A lovely ring from the Early Victorian (ca1850) era! Crafted in 15kt yellow gold and sterling silver, this delicate piece features a row of sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds which are accented by a single pearl trefoil which rests at the center. A total of ten diamonds are set within sterling silver, five on each side, lining the front of the ring in a half band style. The petite trefoil adorns three natural pearls, each representing its "petals" and a single diamond is set within its gold stem. Completing the design is a ridged gold band that graduates very slightly towards the back. A marvelous Victorian piece with an understated but beautifully feminine look, the piece would make a special addition to any antique ring collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25, but could easily be resized if desired. The pearl trefoil centerpiece measures a little less than 1/4" wide and 1/4" tall. The band measures a little more than 1mm wide in the back.?
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and silver setting and all of the diamonds and pearls are intact and securely set.
